Fighting Fear is Michael's third project with Macario De Souza.
Michael was Executive Producer and Producer of "The Bra Boys" film which went on to be the most successful Australian documentary of all time. The film took in over $2 million at the box office and had a US theatrical release. Michael's producing partner in the production company TMG (The Media Garage) is Sue Masters, they are in development on several features, television series and documentaries.
Before moving in to producing Michael Lawrence was the General Manager for two of the most significant privately owned fashion accessory companies in Australia/Asia. These company profits and sales saw a tenfold increase due to Michael's passion for business, distribution, marketing, growth, brand management and relationships.
He also runs Garage Entertainment, a boutique media and entertainment company specializing in production and distribution of Action Sports films and media. He owns this business with childhood friend and Executive Producer Nicholas Cook.
Producer: Sue Masters
Sue started her writing career in Los Angeles by working on multiple episodes of "Love Boat". She is one of Australia's most acclaimed Producers and Executive Producers. She has won almost all National and International awards, including AFI's, Logies, BAMFF, New York Critics Award, Chicago Golden Bear and the International Emmy.
In 1990 she produced "Brides of Christ", which to this day is the highest rating miniseries on Australian television, as wells as three seasons of ratings winner "Sea Change" which is still the ABC's highest selling DVD. Sue has been Head of Drama at the ABC during its most successful creative and commercially successful era for Australian drama.
As Head of Drama at Network Ten, she was responsible for such award winning series as "Secret Life of Us", "Jessica", "The Joanna Lees Story", "The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant" and many other series and serials, including "Neighbors". In 2009-10 Sue was Executive Producer on the award winning series "The Circuit" for SBS TV, before returning to producing with "Millie".
